When you register for BizPortal, we collect your name and email address.

Email Content

When emails are forwarded to your BizPortal address, we process the sender, subject, and body to deliver them as webhook payloads to your configured endpoint.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage metrics including the number of emails processed and webhook delivery events.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To deliver webhook payloads to your configured endpoints.
  • To communicate with you about your account, including OTP verification codes.
  • To monitor and prevent abuse of the Service.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Webhook secrets are encrypted at rest using AES-GCM encryption.
  • Email content is processed in memory and persisted only as event records for delivery auditing.
  • All webhook traffic is transmitted over HTTPS.
  • Secrets are never written to logs or audit trails.

4. Data Retention

  • Account information is retained while your account is active.
  • Email event records are retained for delivery auditing and support purposes.
  • You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

5. Third-Party Services

BizPortal uses the following third-party services:

  • PayFast — for payment processing.
  • AWS S3 — for file storage.

These services have their own privacy policies governing the data they process.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
